ABOUT INTERLOCK
Interlock Paving Systems, Inc. established a manufacturing facility in Hampton, Virginia and on July 22, 1983 produced the first concrete paver. In 1989, a new, more sophisticated production equipment system tripled production capacity and continues to be employed.
We manufacture a comprehensive line of concrete interlocking pavers. Interlock offers concrete pavers in 10 baseline colors, 11 transitional composite blends, 11 different shapes, and 14 limited production shapes. Custom colors are available for those projects which require special aesthetics. Our range of paver thicknesses vary depending on each shape and include 6 cm (2 3/8”), 7 cm (2 ¾”), and 8 cm (3 1/8”).
Included within the Interlock product line are several paver shapes, which when combined with a permeable base and/or setting bed, help to meet many ecological sensitive environmental challenges. These BMP (Best Management Practice) pavers and systems allow us to become a vital part in storm water management, water conservation, as well as helping attain “zero impact” development. These permeable paver “systems” and/or “surface” applications are an important factor when developers and/or contractors are striving to achieve “LEED” credits.
Interlock strives to establish and maintain longterm relationsihips, and work to educate designers, homeowners, and others on the proper use and installation of concrete pavers as well as environmental applications. Upon request, Interlock staff will host lunch-and-learn sessions. Our primary market area is the mid-Atlantic region. Our philosophy is to provide factory direct quality pavers to contractors, homeowners, government entities, and other users.
